Air France: That's a Concorde. Supersonic commercial flight. Always wanted to go. Not sure why they stopped flying this thing.

SR-71 Blackbird. I was amazed by these planes as a kid. I was shocked to see that the fuselage was so low to the ground. Yes, lower than AWP is tall! A very very cool plane.

Amelia really thought this astronaut was cool.

Yes. That is the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Very Cool.

  1. Wow, what a cool place! Did you see anything from the Apollo 11 moon landing? When I was a kid and we lived in Florida, I loved going to the Kennedy Space Center. I remember seeing them move a Space Shuttle from the assembly building to the launch pad and this humongous platform with treads that looked like school busses. Is that how you spell busses? Anyway, glad you and your dad are having a good time! Can't wait to see more pics.

    Love, Uncle Ed

  2. We did see the flotation devices that righted the command module after splashdown. Those little golf ball looking things at the top turn the ship over when it lands nose down.
